Deion Sanders is no longer the head coach at Jackson State and the former Dallas Cowboys superstar is presently in the news for a sad reason – the possible amputation on his foot. But entertainment icon “P Diddy” is also part of the news now as Sean “Diddy” Combs is opting to make good on his promise to make a major donation to the school that was the home to a major football turnaround under “Coach Prime.” It was back in June of 2022 when Diddy made a pledge of $1 million to his alma mater, Howard University. Then, after making that announcement while receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards, the recording artist said he would do the same for Jackson State – in large part, it seems, due to Sanders’ work there.
